Smoky Hill Museum new exhibit takes a look back at the history of Salina downtown development
Opening April 30, visitors to the Smoky Hill Museum will have the chance to learn - or re-live - the history of the downtown area through the new Crossroads exhibit.
The Crossroads explores how Salina was built with the intersection of Santa Fe and Iron Avenues at its center, and the city s birth, growth, and change.
Museum Director Susan Hawksworth, describes the downtown area as the heart of Salina, where the city saw its first framed structure home and businesses.
