BigPay launches cash top-up at Malaysia s 7-Eleven stores

Homegrown financial technology outfit BigPay is expanding its range of financial services in Malaysia with the launch of cash top-up at any of the over 2,400 7-Eleven locations nationwide.

BigPay s DuitNow QR ready for take-off

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 3): AirAsia’s fintech venture, BigPay, is expected to launch its DuitNow QR payment function in the second quarter of this year. With the new payment tool, BigPay users could make instant domestic money transfers and pay at merchants which has the DuitNow QR function. In a statement today, BigPay co-founder Salim Dhanani said the digital wallet provider is committed to bringing transparent, secure and convenient banking services to over 1.3 million users across Malaysia and Singapore, with expansion planned across ASEAN countries. With the aspiration to be the region’s challenger bank, BigPay has a range of new features planned for 2021, including cash top-up at local convenience stores, insurance, digital loans, and wealth management, he said.
