Organizers will donate 25% of ticket sales to the Hope House Foundation, a nonprofit that supports adults with developmental disabilities as they live in their own homes or apartments. The play will run at The Little Theatre of Norfolk starting March 18.

The celebration is in honor of the d'Art Center's 36th anniversary, as well as its new building. The party will be at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 22. It's based on the adventures of Marty McFly and Doc Brown in the 1985 classic film, which stars Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd.
Kicking off at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Naro is a screening of filmmaker Ty Cooper’s newest film, “Amanda.” The event is part of the film’s screening tour, which will also make stops in Charlottesville, Richmond and Park City, Utah. There will also be a 40-minute panel discussion with Cooper and two of the film’s actresses.
