While Notre Dame and Navy have a historic rivalry dating back to 1927, the Fighting Irish have also played Army football a fair amount over the years. The two sides will resume that series pretty soon.
According to a report by Black Knight Nation, the two sides are set to meet in 2024. It is unclear where this game will take place. The last meeting between the two in 2016, a Shamrock Series game for the Fighting Irish, was played at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

The Army Black Knights and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will play in 2024, according to a report by Sal Interdonato of Black Knight Nation.
Army and Notre Dame will likely meet at a neutral-site location, and Yankee Stadium in Bronx, N.Y., is the “front runner to host the 52nd meeting between Army and Notre Dame” per the report.
Army and Notre Dame, both Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) Independents, first met on the gridiron on Nov. 1, 1913 at Army’s parade field, The Plain, in West Point, N.Y. The Fighting Irish defeated the Black Knights in that contest, 35-13.
