High-profile Addison shopping center changes hands Village on the Parkway got a $40 million redo in 2014. Village on the Parkway is at the Dallas North Tollway and Belt Line Road.(DMN files ) One of the biggest shopping centers in Dallas’ northern suburbs has changed hands. The 32-acre Village on the Parkway retail center in Addison is on the southeast corner of Dallas North Tollway and Belt Line Road. The more than 343,000-square-foot shopping complex includes eight buildings and is anchored by a Whole Foods Market grocery store and an AMC Theater. Village on the Parkway underwent a $40 million renovation in 2014, the project’s biggest makeover since it opened in 1981.
