The president of the National Tertiary Education Union, who claimed he was kidnapped and tortured by police a year ago, says he will challenge his dismissal from the University of Fort Hare.
The group of people accused of defrauding the University of Fort Hare out of millions of rand has failed in a bid to have the charges dismissed. The 15 accused on Wednesday brought their application in the Alice magistrate’s court, sitting in Dimbaza, asking that the matter be struck off the roll, citing jurisdiction.
