Jamshedpur: Several pro-farmer outfits organized a 12-km tractor rally in a show of solidarity with farmers protesting along the Delhi borders against the three controversial farm laws. Organized under the banner of Kisan Andolankari Ekjutah Manch (KAEM), the rally with 24 tractors started from Aam Bagan ground in Sakchi and travelled through Sakchi Main Road and reached No. 9 bus stand, moving to the football ground in Mango before returning to Aam Bagan.
Jharkhand Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (JGPC) member Shailendra Singh said the rally covered about 12km. He added that the district police initially did not give permission for the rally, but agreed when the outfit’s leaders revised the route and reduced the distance. The rally commenced at 11.30am and finished at 3pm.
