Three men were crushed to death in a road accident on Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Narayanganj s Kanchpur area yesterday.
The dead are Abu Bakkar Siddique, 20, of Narayanganj; Ohidul Mia, 32, of Rangpur; and Sajib Sarkar, 28, of Chandpur, said police.
Mohammad Moniruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Kanchpur Highway Police Station, said the trio was standing behind a Chattogram-bound Borak Paribahan s bus which was parked at Kanchpur intersection to board on passengers.
Around 10:00am, a speedy bus of Homna Super Services hit the parked bus from behind, leaving the three critically injured, he said.
