When Ernest Shipman arrived in Saint John in late summer of 1922, he came with a reputation as Canada’s most successful movie producer. But Blue Water, the story of a Bay of Fundy fisherman who battles alcoholism and storms at sea to find true love, would be Shipman’s undoing.
The free camp aims to equip the next generation of the Saint John music community with the skills to play new instruments, form bands, and perform original songs.
Opened by the Compassionate Grief Centre in early July with the help of a federal grant, the Grief Cafe is a place for everyone to feel comfortable sharing the feelings that come with loss.
