Rich will discuss Constitutionally Guaranteed Freedoms The Saint Augustine Tea Party has invited all Historic City News readers to attend their next open meeting on Tuesday, May 25th at 6:30 p.m., to be held at Norma D’s Kitchen, 224 N Main Street in Hastings Florida. The featured speaker for Tuesday’s meeting will be former St Johns County Commission chairman, and commissioner, Ben Rich.  He is a retired military officer and Special Agent for the U.S. Customs Service.  He left in 1999 with approximately 30 years of service. His credentials include U.S. Navy (classified), U.S. Army Special Agent, Deputy U.S. Marshal, Special Agent, Instructor as well as serving as a municipal police officer. Additionally, Rich is an author who wrote the fictional novel, FADED COLORS.

The featured speaker will be Luis Miguel, a North Florida-based conservative news writer, activist, and Republican Party official, who has officially entered the 2022 GOP Primary Election for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Marco Rubio. Luis Miguel, a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump, is known for his extensive writings in both print and online platforms for The New American magazine.  Miguel also speaks regularly on a number of conservative radio programs, including Bill Martinez Live, The Daily Review With Keith Hanson, and Focus Today With Perry Atkinson.

Commissioner sounds off on whether the reason for wearing masks is medical or political St Johns County Commissioner Jeb Smith, will be the special guest speaker Tuesday evening when the Saint Augustine Tea Party invites Historic City News subscribers to attend an open meeting February 23rd beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the World Famous Oasis Restaurant, located at 4000 A1A South in St Augustine Beach. With so much controversy over whether any benefit is gained by requiring citizens to wear a facemask, local Tea Party members and guests will hear Tuesday the opinion of Commissioner Smith on the arguments for and against.  Smith is a lifelong resident and business owner in St. Johns County. A fifth-generation farmer in Hastings, Jeb is a producer of cattle, hay, and sod. His family has lived, been educated, and worked in St. Johns County for over 100 years.
