KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 20 Random door-to-door checks to ensure home quarantine compliance by Category One and Two Covid-19 patients are ongoing, city police confirmed today.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Commissioner Datuk Saiful Azly Kamaruddin said such inspections are similar to police and Health Ministry checks on Persons Under Surveillance (PUS) who are on 14-day self-quarantine after returning from overseas.

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 13: Police have uncovered a syndicate’s premises used to store drugs, and seized more than RM4.3 million worth of drugs in two raids in Kepong and Seri Kembangan on Jan 8 and 9 respectively.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Saiful Azly Kamaruddin said police arrested a man, aged 24, at Jalan Metro Perdana Barat 7, Kepong, here, on Friday at 4.30 pm.
He said police seized 1.03 kg of methamphetamine, 230 grammes of Erimin 5 pills, 192 grammes of ecstasy pills, as well as a Toyota sedan and RM400 in cash.
KUALA LUMPUR: Approximately RM4.3mil worth of drugs were seized following the arrests of three men in Kepong and Seri Kembangan.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Saiful Azly Kamaruddin said the first arrest was that of a 24-year-old man at Jalan Metro Perdana, Barat 7 in Kepong around 4.30pm on Jan 8 after receiving a tip-off. We seized 1kg of methamphetamine, 1,155 Erimin 5 pills, 192g of ecstasy along with a car and RM400 in cash, ” said Comm Saiful Azly.
He added that the investigation led police personnel to Seri Kembangan at 7.45pm on Jan 9, where two 20-year-old men were arrested.
“We seized seized RM106,166 in cash, he told a press conference at the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters on Wednesday (Jan 13).
KUALA LUMPUR: A 61-year-old woman and her two sons were detained in connection with the suspected abuse and death of a five-year-old girl at a condominium in Sentul.
