Saiee Manjrekar
Saiee Manjrekar made her Bollywood debut with massy entertainer ‘Dabangg 3’ (2019) featuring Salman Khan. Soon she will be seen in her next, which is a bilingual film Major, set in the backdrop of 26/11 attacks. The film marks her entry in Telugu cinema. A daughter of talented actor Mahesh Manjrekar, who has notable work in Marathi cinema, we ask Saiee to share her thoughts on working in Marathi movies. The actress opens up with a positive response, though puts up on condition. She says, “I have thought about working in Marathi films a lot! They have great content. My dad always told me that cinema has no language. He always asked me to focus on the script than the language. So, if the concept is nice, language is secondary to me. Though, if I do a Marathi film, I would like to do it with my dad (smiles).”
