Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited has offloaded its remaining 20.75 per cent stake in Sagicor Real Estate X Fund Limited as it charts a new path in a rising interest rate environment.

Portland JSX gained 30 per cent to $8.45, Ciboney gained 29 per cent to $0.66, Transjamaican Highway gained 14 per cent to US$0.01 and Knutsford Express gain
The Jamaica Stock Exchange closed lower on Tuesday with over $300 million in shares trading hands, for the second day in a row.
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 90 stocks of which 40 advanced, 31 declined and 19 traded firm.
Leading gains were 138 Student Living up 27 per cent to close at $5.90, Salada Foods up 15 per cent to close at $27.27, Transjamaican Highway preference shares up 14 per cent to $1.61, and iCreate shares up 11 per cent to $0.60.
Sygnus Credit led declines down 9.0 per cent to US$0.16.
Also on the day, the JSE Combined Index declined by 507.14 points (0.13 per cent) to close at 388,806.36.
The JSE Index declined by 550.89 points (0.14 per cent) to close at 391,753.12; the JSE All Jamaican Composite Index declined by 528.44 points (0.12 per cent) to close at 429,331.77 and the Junior Market Index closed level at 2,636.45 points.
