Duties & Responsibilities
700/800 payrolls – (weekly/monthly/bi-annual)
Size range of employees from 1-2 director only up to 50 employees
Process payroll including statutory year-end returns
Deal with statutory compliance for pensions requirements
Deal with government scheme applications – such as Job Retention Scheme
The Ideal Candidate
Good team player able to interact at all levels of an organisation
Knowledge of Sage Payroll, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Overtime mandatory during peak periods (year-end/month end)

AJ Chambers Recruitment is very happy to be working with one of the leading multi-office, independent firm of Chartered Accountants, on their requirement for an experienced Payroll Administrator in their Stevenage office. This is a full-time, permanent role.
Responsibilities:
Administration of all stages of payroll processing for a portfolio of outsourced payrolls, including scanning information and monitoring the payroll processing cycle to ensure that information on payroll spreadsheets is maintained and kept up to date at all times.
Ensuring that all information for payrolls is made available for processing by outsourced payroll providers.
Preparation of letters, payroll reports and payslips for submission to clients.
