Team Lakay coach Mark Sangiao believes that the trilogy between Eduard Folayang and Shinya Aoki will settle the unfinished business between the two veteran fighters.
“1-1 na sina Shinya and Eduard (Shinya and Eduard have 1-1 record against each other) and [a] trilogy is nice to set the record straight,” Sangiao told the
Manila Bulletin in a text message. “Though may last minute na adjustment na kailangan namin (Though there are last minute adjustments on our end), it’s all good and as I have mentioned, we are always very hopeful in any matches that we have.”

Colbey Northcutt will look to pick up her second pro MMA victory later this month, but she’ll do so against a new opponent.
Promotional officials confirmed to MMA Fighting that with Sovannahry Em being forced to withdraw due to an injury, Northcutt will now face Courtney Martin at ONE on TNT 4. The event takes place April 28 at Singapore Indoor Stadium.
After a second-round TKO loss in her pro debut at LFA 14 in October 2017, Northcutt joined her brother Sage Northcutt in signing an exclusive deal with ONE. The 28-year-old was successful in her promotional debut as she earned a unanimous decision win over Putri Padmi in November 2019.

Team Lakay’s Eduard Folayang lands a leg kick to Shinya Aoki (ONE Championship)
Team Lakay veteran Eduard Folayang and seasoned Japanese fighter Shinya Aoki are set to settle their unfinished business through a trilogy when they clash in the Circle anew in ONE on TNT IV at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on April 29.
Though completely unexpected, Folayang “as a warrior” bared that he is always prepared in such circumstances and saw the situation as an opportunity for a greater comeback.

Team Valor has yet to recover as Teirra Kamolvattanavith of Thailand and Sho Takei of Japan were eliminated in the fourth episode of ONE Championship’s “The Apprentice”.
Kamolvattanavith, Takei, and project manager Irina Chadsey were sent to the chopping block after ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong picked Team Conquest to win the digital restaurant branding business challenge.
Sityodtong pointed out that Kamolvattanavith’s awkward pauses and stuttering put Team Valor’s pitch in hot water while Filipino bet Louie Sangalang helped her in the process.
