Four persons were arrested from the Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT) in Guwahati for allegedly trading suspected heroin. The police also recovered contraband substances and seized a two-wheeler from their possession. Read more about the arrest and the operation.
The former chief district medical officer of Jajpur, Retired Jajpur CDMO, is critically injured after being attacked at his home in Charigharia, Bhadrak district. He was stabbed multiple times and is currently admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack.
