SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Fire season is right around the corner and SDG&E wants you and your loved ones to remain safe – which is why they are encouraging community members to participate in their Wildfire Safety Webinars and attend the upcoming DRIVE-THRU Wildfire Safety Fairs taking place over the next several months.

According to a recent Iowa Hospital Association report for 2019, Manning Regional Healthcare Center (MRHC) has provided nearly $5 million in direct payroll income and $7.3 million in indirect impact on the local economy. This includes nearly $3.5 million in retail sales and $207,500 in sales tax. MRHC also offers a variety of community education events, trainings and clinics, such as CPR and AED training, blood drives, wellness and blood pressure clinics, concussion testing at the high school, walk-in flu shot clinics, Kid’s Health and Safety Fairs, Senior Fun Day, Women Supporting Women and Medicare Enrollment. “We are proud to share that in the past year we provided nearly $40,000 in donations and community health improvement services to benefit our local communities,” says CEO, Linn Block.
