Eres Tu winning the Thirty Eight Go Go Stakes in November
Edward Seltzer and Beverly Anderson s Grade 2-placed Eres Tu, unbeaten in two starts since returning from more a year layoff, goes after her third straight win and second in a stakes in the $150,000 Allaire du Pont (G3) Saturday, Dec. 26 at Laurel Park in Laurel, Md.
The 27th running of the 1 1/8-mile du Pont for fillies and mares 3 and up, traditionally contested over Preakness (G1) weekend, was moved following racing s return from the coronavirus pause to serve as the headliner on a Christmastide Day program featuring eight stakes worth $850,000 in purses.

Central Victorian reinswoman Ellen Tormey had an unforgettable night out at the latest Mildura Harness Racing meeting, but she admits she didn t make the four-hour trek chock-full of confidence.
But there s nothing like a run of luck to turn things around - and Tormey did that on Friday night, putting together a fabulous five winners for the first time in her career at the far north west Victorian track. I had an awful night at Echuca the night before and the previous week at Mildura I think I was on four favorites and they all got run down, so I didn t exactly arrive full of confidence, Tormey said.
Twist And Twirl, the dam of King Of Swing and Bettor Twist, is an Artsplace mare out of Giveitawhirlgirl, by Jenna’s Beach Boy from the fine racemare Impish (1:54.9), by Falcon Seelster from a noted producer in Smarty Pants (1:58.6), by El Patron.
Twist And Twirl won seven races including the Great Northern Oaks and NZ Sires Stakes 3YO Championship, took a record of 1:56 and earned $283,258 and was a top racemare in her own right. She ranks as a sister to the NSW Group winner Feels Like Magic 1:51 ($261,728) and a half-sister to the Blossom Lady winner Bettor Give It 1:57.4 ($138,061), dam of this year’s SA Derby and NSW Breeders Challenge winner Mach Dan 1:51.7 ($204,892).
