In terms of where we are now, we are tracking at the cdc 40,000 cases of covid every day. Hospital admissions are about 3200 and our deaths are between 350 and 400 per day. While that is markedly different then we have seen in some of our prior months, i am disturbed we are at 400 deaths a day and that continues. In terms of cases, we recognize we are testing, using pcr tests, up to 3 million every single day. Now with more and more use of rapid tests we are not tracking every case. Today the governor declared a state of emergency and authorized the National Guard to help keep the peace when that decision comes in. Dean reynolds is at the courthouse in clayton, missouri.
