RIYADH: Two planes carrying 180 tons of humanitarian aid from Saudi Arabia arrived in Karachi as Pakistan reels from its worst floods in decades. Each of the two flights, which arrived on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning respectively, carried 90 tons of food, shelter, and medical supplies for those impacted by the floods, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The airplane represents the first batch of the Saudi aid airlift to support those affected by the torrential rains and floods in Pakistan which is being dispatched by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in implementation of the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman.
