Muscat: Four vaccination centres that opened in four sites in Muscat governorate saw steady footfall of people 60 years and above, both residents as well as Omanis for their COVID-19 shots. The vaccination centre set up were at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher for those residing in the Seeb and Bausher region, Sablah Muttrah Centre in Muttrah High Street for those staying in Muttrah and Muscat area, Health Complex of Quriyat for the residents and citizens of Quriyat and Saada Wali of Amerat for those living in Amerat region. The centres that are under the remit of the Ministry of Health continued their vaccination programme with the Pfizer – BioNTech as well as Oxford – AstraZeneca vaccines.
