Jim, 84, passed into eternal life on February 5 at St. Vincent’s Sacred Heart Hospice after a valiant battle with glioblastoma (terminal brain cancer). His loving family held him close every step of the way. Jim was born on Valentine’s Day, 1938 to Henry W. Kostelecky & Helen B. (Hatzenbiler) Kostelecky & raised in Dickinson. Jim married his high school sweetheart, Audrey (Pavlicek) on August 12, 1961. He was a member of the National Guard. He worked at the Northern Pacific Railroad for six years & then attended Wahpeton State School of Science, graduating in 1967. Upon graduating, Jim worked at MDU for 33 years, until he retired. Jim’s family is blessed to call him theirs & cherishes his memory. He is survived by Audrey; children, Jim (Kerry), Cindy (Kerry); Nancy (Greg); five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings Ted (Marge), Patty, Marilyn (Ron), & Ron (Rita), brother-in-law Gordy (Linda) Pavlicek & preceded in death by his parents & sister,
