According to the Morcha, the demands which Delhi Chalo has been called include: MSP should be guaranteed as per C2+50 percent formula and, as promised, a law should be made to guarantee it; all the farmers should be made debt free, and all agricultural loan must be waived.

The villagers, who had their own dump yard for 15 years, hope that the residents now understand their plight. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) had been dumping the city's waste in Daruthenga, but stopped in May this year due to protests. The BMC is now facing issues with the temporary transit station, which is causing health hazards and air pollution.
