For over a century, the Florida coastal waters have drawn an ever-growing population of winter visitors escaping the frigid North. Birds, fish and sharks also migrate south to escape freezing temperatures. The latest arrival is a great white named Sable, a tagged shark that sent a signal it was off the Florida coast twice in January.
