A FIVE-year-old girl has died after suffering a medical episode at school. Police were called to St Matthew s C of E Primary School, Ivy House Road, West Bowling, yesterday at 2pm following reports of a child suffering from a medical episode. The girl was taken to hospital by ambulance, but died a short time later. A west Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “The family are being supported by specially trained officers during this incredibly difficult time. “There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances and a file will be prepared for the coroner.” Councillor Sabiya Khan (Lab, Wibsey) sent her condolences to the girl’s family, adding it was hard to comprehend what they must be going through.

The operation of the mosque has caused deep concern for many local residents, particularly with parking, irregular opening houses and noise with dozens of complaints submitted.
