The Libyan army has accused Egypt of arming renegade Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar. The army announced yesterday that, Two Egyptian planes landed at Sabha Airport carrying a shipment of weapons and ammunition hidden under a cargo of medicines. The consignment, it said, was intended for Haftar s militia.
On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health announced that the shipment of medicines had arrived in Sabha from Egypt, in coordination with the Government of National Unity. According to the pro-Haftar TV channel

TRIPOLI, Libya
The Libyan army said on Wednesday two Egyptian planes that landed in Libya s southern Sabha International Airport had brought weapons and ammunition to Libyan warlord Khalifa Haftar.
According to a statement by Abdelhadi Drah, spokesperson for the Libyan army s Sirte-Jufra Operations Room, the weapons were hidden within a batch of medicines.
Drah said: Two of the Egyptian C-130 aircraft landed in the Sabha Airport under the pretext of bringing medicines but brought weapons and ammunition.
He added that the batch contained a small number of medicines, while most of the shipment comprised weapons.
