The National Rifle Association and a mall in Illinois stepped in for a boy who was left in tears after a mall Santa told him he couldn t have a Nerf gun for Christmas.

When Santa refused to grant a 4-year-old boy his wish for a Nerf gun and left the tot in tears, gun-rights advocates and the Illinois mall itself flooded the family with the toys.
It was clearly a painful moment for Michael DeCarlo as Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas and he responded with his request for a Nerf Blaster, which shoots foam darts, disks or foam balls that generally bounce harmlessly off their targets.
“Nope. No guns,” Santa said, according to USA Today.

One Illinois mother was hoping for a sweet video of her son meeting with Santa Claus. What she recorded, though, was far from cute.
An unfriendly mall Santa Claus at Harlem Irving Plaza in Norridge is facing a lot of backlash on social media after he caused a little boy to cry because he lectured him about what kinds of toys he will and will not bring on Christmas Eve.
According to a video posted to Facebook Sunday by Sabella DeCarlo, the politically correct Claus told her young son he would not be getting a Nerf gun from him for Christmas this year.
