LAHAD DATU, Dec 11 The Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS)-led state government is working on various projects and initiatives in a bid to improve facilities for the people, said Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Hajiji Noor. He said the government was redoubling its efforts to develop basic infrastructure.
Development planning should be managed systematically to launch the ‘Sabah Maju Jaya’ agenda in every district and reduce bureaucracy between government agencies and the people.
Explaining the matter, Sugut Assemblyman Datuk James Ratib said, government agencies such as Beluran District Council (MDB) need to play a more effective role especially in resolving pending issues in their areas.
He said the development projects that had been planned had to be completed according to schedule and the agency’s officials were advised to go down to the field more often to monitor the progress of the ongoing projects
