As if the seven nominations Zakes Bantwini got at the SA Music Awards last week were not enough, the singer and producer is leading with the highest nods he scored at the 7th Annual Mzansi Kwaito House Awards.
Ngqamakhwe-born music producer Bonga Ntozini, who goes by the stage name of Karyendasoul, could have a big night at the SA Music Awards next month. Ntozini is nominated for his smash-hit song Imali featuring Zakes Bantwini and Nana Atta. Karyendasoul is also the co-producer of Bantwini’s album Ghetto King, which has been nominated in seven categories at the same awards.
Sindisiwe Manqele, the woman who was sentenced to 12 years for killing her then rapper boyfriend Nkululeko "Flabba" Habedi in 2015, has been granted parole.
