every issue. we care about the economy. we care about healthcare. we care about iran. we care about isis. we care about immigration, education, and healthcare. you also talked about, and we just had the sound bite with prime minister netanyahu, a huge controversy because is he coming to town next week to speak and the democrats a lot of them are are going to be mia. the president is not going to meet with him. how can the president sort of patch this one up? because, i mean it s gotten to be an ugly spat. we do need working with israel. if you you could whisper in the president s ear, what would you tell him? what i think i would tell the president is that it s not about him it is not about him. it is not an offense to him. it has to do with a man prime minister of israel has warned that a deal of any cost is a danger.
cost is a danger. i would advise the president to keep his ego in check and listen carefully to the message that b.b. netanyahu is trying to deliver to him and to the american people. i m truly disappointed, i must say that democrats are treating this as a partisan issue it is not a partisan issue. it s a national security issue. you also talked today about reforming the tax code and i spoke with senate finance committee chair orrin hatch a while back. he said the great difficulty, even with the majority of reforming the tax code because you have got to get past the filibuster for one. what is sort of your dream about this tax code can, if you were president you could do something. what would do you? i would start by lowering every rate and a closing every loophole. it s not just the rate in the tax code that are uncompetitive and too high. it s also the complexity of our tax code which makes it so very difficult for small businesses and hard working americans to dig their way thro
