A hard freeze warning in Marion County and we have to get the sun in place and start warming up the atmosphere. There s miles and miles of atmosphere that have to be warmed up before you start feeling a little bit better and right now temperatures reflect how chilly it is outside. A hard freeze. That can do some damage to plants, particularly up around Marion County. The rest of us are under a freeze until 8 or 9 00. The further south you go, the more likely it is to be around 8 00 but 9 00 is like the real cutoff for everybody. So if you re in the blue here, you re under those freeze warnings as you can see down around the osceola area and polk county. Things are not as bad. It s a little warmer over in Brevard County. We ll kind of keep all this in place, too, as we push through the rest of the morning. 9 00 seems to be the golden hour when things really start to improve. But we don t warm up a lot. Talk about temperatures right now. 34 in leesburg. 36 in orlando. 33 in Daytona Beach
Thank you for joining us on otr this morning. Our guest is dante scala. He is an associate professor in Political Science at the university of New Hampshire. He s been tracking the changing political demographics of New Hampshire. It is a current book. He has written the four faces. Janet this is turning out to be an election that will be remembered for its anomalies donald trump and Bernie Sanders. Do you think this is the start of a new trend in politics that s here to stay . Mr. Scala certainly donald trump has put his finger on american politics where politics and entertainment intersect. You have 20 Million People watching the debate. That has a big effect on how the nomination process will turn out. Than it used to be. The primary is different it is no longer taking place in living rooms in iowa and New Hampshire because a republican in oklahoma can watch the candidates on her tv and judge for herself. Janet have we opened the door where this entertainment and political intersect
