In November, Maruti Suzuki India saw a 3% decline in total production to 1,47,763 units. Entry-level cars like Alto and S-Presso notably dropped by 62% to 8,425 units, while models including Baleno, Dzire, and Swift decreased to 79,700 units. However, utility vehicles such as Brezza and Ertiga rose to 45,483 units. Overall passenger vehicle production fell to 1,44,912 units, while the Super Carry s production decreased to 2,851 units.
The automaker announced that it is recalling 87,599 units of its S-Presso and Eeco models which are manufacturedbetween 05th July, 2021 and 15th February, 2023.
