Turner sat down with green who said kings outlook had a big impact on his life. He was a freedom writer when he first met dr. Martin luther king jr. He tells me the day he got out of jail was the first time he met him. Looking back at that experience, it was one of the best things that happened to me. He remembers it like it was yesterday. He was a College Student preparing to study theology when he decided to become a freedom writer. Protesting segregation at rail and bus terminals in the deep south. Investigators think happened . Amanda the amtrak train, 98, board and was heading from miami to new york when the crew says it struck a person who appeared to lay his head down on the track. There is another amtrak train passing through right now. The train came to a stop. Emergency responders were called and the person who was hit was there s no information indicating anyone on board the train was harmed and as is usually the case, the train and the passengers remained here while the investigation took place. They were stopped for over 3 hours. It finally departed about 10 minutes ago. One woman who was scheduled to catch the next amtrak train came to the scene to see what the delay was and was saddened to learn what had happened. It s sad, it s really unfortunate, i don t know the details about this but if somebody did this on purpose i feel awful for everybody, especially the crew.
