Japan's Ryoyu Kobayashi flew 291 meters in Iceland for an unofficial world record touted by organizer Red Bull as "the longest ski jump in history."
Ryoyu Kobayashi, whom many consider to be one of the greatest of all time, set a new 291-meter record beating his previous best by 37.5 meters. Though the record won't officially count, he's now leading everyone by a mile.
