The district hosts two Chinese Historical Museums, as well as a huge, two-day celebration for Lunar New Year (that’s obviously gone virtual this year), but is otherwise not a destination for Chinese or other Asian fare. If you’re looking for the city’s best Asian cuisine, most locals will direct you to the Convoy District home to over 100 restaurants serving Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Lao, Thai, Vietnamese, Taiwanese cuisines and more, plus a variety of Asian-owned businesses.
