Erik Ostberg is on the move.
The Florence native and member of the Tampa Bay Rays farm system confirmed Sunday night that he was promoted to Double-A, and would be joining the Montgomery (Ala.) Biscuits.
In just three games with the Single-A Bowling Green Hot Rods, Ostberg was 6-for-11 with three home runs and eight RBIs. He was 2-for-4 with a home run in Sunday’s loss against the Greenville Drive, the high Single-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.
