Ryann s death was ruled a homicide after an autopsy in March revealed blunt force trauma to her head. Monroe County First Assistant District Attorney Michael Mancuso announced new charges against Bacchus, 31, and Amanda Green, 29, the infant s parents, Thursday.
Bacchus, Green and their infant daughter were staying with a friend, Tony Kristiansen, when police say Ryann was murdered.
Kristiansen said the couple had used heroin and methamphetamine. Bacchus was high, looked like a whack job and was slurring his words when he went to sleep with Ryann on the couch, Kristiansen told police.
Ryann began to cry around 2 a.m. Kristiansen said he woke up and asked Bacchus to give her baby formula. Bacchus did, and Kristiansen went back to sleep. The baby continued to cry.
