Heavy rain for some of us, gusty winds, but some sunshine around too, and this mixture of weather was brought by low pressure, which is going to be here through tonight and also into tomorrow. And its a very slow moving low, meaning that the weather pattern is not going to change very quickly. In fact, we keep getting the heavy rain in the same places, so northern ireland, south western scotland, the north west of england into yorkshire too whereas, further south, always drier and clearer, and thats what we are going to have through tomorrow as well. Now, eventually, some of that rain will clear away as this low starts to blow itself out, but there will still be plenty of showers around, perhaps thundery ones there across scotland and northern england.
