Just imagine buying clothes for your child that they didn’t outgrow in one year. After seeing how fast his nephew outgrew his clothes, aeronautical engineer Ryan Yasin set out to address the problem and created Petit Pli, a cool line of clothes for kids featuring pleats that expand and contract to grow as your child grows.
Yasin, 27, said he’s more of a problem solver than a designer and that his goal was to create a solution that would benefit the entire value chain, from the environment, manufacturer, retailer and the user.
