Sara Jordan-Heintz Ryan Santi has been named operations director of Boys & Girls Clubs of Story County. Santi came on board in mid-December 2020, and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Ames and Nevada sites. He said he found himself busy from Day One on the job due to a recent change of hours and programming the organization does with its members. He has enjoyed a long career in coaching. He also has more than 20 years of operational experience in residential treatment for youth. Santi, a native of Madrid, is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa. “It’s exciting to see how happy the kids are to be at the Club every day. When their parents come to pick them up, they don’t want to leave,” he said in a news release.
