It has been a busy week for Pennsylvania State Police and other local police departments, and it’s only Wednesday.
The winter storm that dropped a record amount of snow in the Lehigh Valley also led to crashes and stuck vehicles around the region.
On Monday and Tuesday Troop M, which covers the Lehigh Valley and Bucks County, responded to 47 crashes and 204 disabled vehicles.
Snow-related crashes kept police and emergency personnel busy starting Sunday and into Tuesday night.
One person was injured late Tuesday after a front-end loader and a Norfolk Southern train crashed in Bethlehem.
