Special to the Crier
Wayland High School senior Ryan Najemy is chairing Hope Grows Here: A Virtual Adventure, a fundraiser to support the bereavement services of Jeff s Place, which offers hope and healing in a supportive community for grieving children, teens, families and individuals.
Between now and May 23, participants can choose their desired physical activity, whether it s walking, running, swimming, hiking or biking. Ryan attended Jeff’s Place Children’s Bereavement Center Inc. for about four years as a young child, along with his dad and siblings, said Jenny Kaplan of Wayland, founder and CEO of Jeff’s Place. One of the most meaningful ways I have seen Ryan is in his desire to give back to other kids who are grieving.
