A house fire in Truro killed a family dog Saturday afternoon.
The state fire marshal is investigating that blaze that happened at a residence on Bay View Drive.
Also on Sunday afternoon one person was taken to the hospital after a fire at a single-family home on Waquoit highway in Falmouth.
And a large brush fire approached the back of Ryan Family Amusements on Route 28 in Yarmouth on Saturday, but was extinguished before it actually extended to the business.

The 25th annual Stuff-A-Bus kicked off this morning with Kevin Matthews, the host of WCOD’s Wake up Cape Cod.
The 60 hour radiothon is streaming live on the station’s website at 106wcod.com.
This year there are two stuff a bus locations, one at Ryan Family Amusements in South Yarmouth and another outside of the Target store at the Cape Cod Mall.
Donors can stop by the buses and drop off new unwrapped toys. Donations can also be made on the website.
This year stuff a bus is being co-sponsored by Battles Nissan and Cape Cod Five and is in conjunction with the Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program.
