On Monday, December 6, at about 7pm, Rwanda National Police (RNP) arrested a man identified as Ezra Nshimyumuremyi, 18, in Rwempasha Sector, Nyagatare District with 20,000 pieces of plastic bags that he was sneaking into the country from Uganda.
Police in partnership with other security organs and the public in Nyagatare and Kayonza districts, on Wednesday, October 20, foiled groups of traffickers, who were attempting to sneak 83kgs of cannabis and 33 litres of kanyanga, an illicit crude gin, into Rwanda.
