Background: Every second year, General Electric (GE) surveys the world’s most inventive leaders about the future of innovation. The Global Innovation Barometer 2020 (GIB20) website showcases this 50-page report full of complex and abstract data on innovation into simple, fun moments through meaningful interactions using video and photography; heavily art-directed, abstract 3-D animations and illustrations; and WebGL. Its target audience is primarily business executives, but it’s really for everyone interested in the future of innovation.
Nieuw Bergen
For this residential development in Eindhoven, Netherlands, Gewest13 created a site that keeps focus on the architecture of Nieuw Bergen’s seven main buildings.
Responses by Tom Eele, creative director; Barend Eijkenduin, junior designer; Ruud Luijten, developer; and Ruben van Grinsven, front-end developer, Gewest13.
Background: This website is part of our total branding for Nieuw Bergen, a real estate area developed by SDK Vastgoed in the city of Eindhoven, Netherlands. In area development projects like this, it’s important that everything ties together properly. We took the architecture of the buildings the characteristic roofs with 45-degree slopes that add more light and livability to the neighborhood and tied it to the branding to communicate Nieuw Bergen’s identity. We also named the seven buildings after the seven prismatic colors by Isaac Newton that form the spectrum of white light.
