LA VERGNE, TN –The Christmas tree lighting and other holiday festivities for La Vergne have been rescheduled and will take place this Friday, December 8 at Veterans Memorial Park, 115 Floyd Mayfield Drive. The Parade of Lights and Winter Festival, originally scheduled for December 2, were cancelled due to inclement weather.
Festivities at the park will begin on December 8 at 6:00 p.m. with the tree lighting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Parade of Lights Grand Marshal Aaron Bock will flip the sw .
LA VERGNE, TN – This Saturday (12/02/23) will mark the 13th annual Parade of Lights at 5 p.m. in La Vergne, Tennessee. The parade begins at the La Vergne City Hall and ends at Veterans Memorial Park, where the tree lighting ceremony and fireworks show will take place.
This year's theme is "Peace on Earth,” with U.S. Veteran Aaron Bock from La Vergne serving as the parade grand marshal. Following the parade there will be Christmas caroling, snacks, and pictures .
