SCHOOL pupils brought Easter cheer to NHS staff at a children s hospital with a specially designed cake. Year 7 students at Roedean School were challenged to design an Easter cake for staff at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton, as a special thank you to recognise their hard work throughout the pandemic. The competition was judged by the school’s expert pastry chef, Ruth Sambrook, and the opportunity to see their design made into a real cake by Ruth proved popular. Out of 25 designs, it was Chloe Cheng who triumphed with her superhero themed Easter cake.
