He testified and described waking up to a man dressed in black, shining a flashlight and making demands. The man who lives in this home, testified the robber woke him up and said your daughter is okay. Listen to what i say. He said the robber tried to tie him up, but he fought back. The robber, he says, hit his head with the flashlight. He says his wife ran to the bathroom to call 911. The victim says the robber left the home when yelling for his wife to get tthough they didnt. Matthew muller was identified by his cell phone. Detectives bypassed the locked phone by calling 911, got the number, and that the phone was registered to mullers parents. Three correctional deputies are on administrative leave after an inmate died in his cell almost one week ago. The question now is was this accidental or intentional . We obtained a Court Document yesterday and it lists as the victim the nigh of michael tyree. Sources tell us he was badly beaten in his jail cell on the sic floor. Several sources also tell our Investigative Units, he had lacerations to his liver and his spleen. That information comes as the coroner waits to release the auch reports. He was waiting to be transferred at a bed at momentum crisis residential treatment center. He did not have a cell mate and last wednesday just after midnight sources tell us some sort of the argument ensued inside his cell. On friday, the Sheriffs Office said what he has been saying and repeating all week that the guards found tyree unresponsive in that cell and called for help. Lane. At first, they said the space was needed for safety stops and maintenance, something levine says is nonsense. Right now, the third lane is used as a storage close set essentially. Theres equipment in the third lane. Theres a hardened barricade and commuters are stuck in the other two lanes watching that equipment collect dust. Reporter the state legislature agreed and passed a bill that not only green lights the lane, but also cuts through a year of the usual red tape. But caltrans says they will still need two years to get the job done. Still have environmental rules we have to follow. We have other protocols we have to follow. Reporter levine reacted with a second bill that would order caltrans to reopen the lane by the end of the month. Then go for the longterm fix.
