Many children who were born from March last year had not been captured in the national registry due to the lockdown which saw most social services suspended for the greater part of last year, the state-run Chronicle newspaper reported Tuesday. Although the relevant offices were later opened following the easing of pandemic restrictions, few people were being served as officials sought to adhere to COVID-19 preventative protocols.
