Gift of Warmth: Record annual donations reach $78,400

While the annual Gift of Warmth campaign has ended, contributions continue to flow in, increasing the already record-setting total donated by Seacoast Media Group readers for heating and fuel assistance.
To date, the 2020-2021 campaign has raised $78,400 for the community action programs of Rockingham and Strafford counties to help those facing a home heating crisis. Recipients are often senior citizens facing financial hardships, a young family struggling to make ends meet, an individual or family suddenly faced with a job loss or illness or anyone else facing the threat of being out in the cold this winter. Over the past 15 years, the Gift of Warmth campaign has raised $695,675.
